Corporate FDs are fixed deposits which are offered by financial and non-banking financial companies (NBFCs). The maturity of corporate FDs can range from a few months or years.
The word cumulative means accumulation. Similarly cumulative fixed deposit means a fixed deposit where interest is accumulated or collected till the end of the maturity period.
Non-cumulative fixed deposit is where interest accrued is paid regularly to the depositor. The interest-paying interval can vary from monthly ,quarterly or semi-annually.
